Health Resource Center

The Health Resource Center offers free health and wellness information to patients, family members, staff and the community. HRC features a comprehensive collection of books, medical encyclopedias, magazines, DVD’s and internet resources.

The purpose of the HRC is to provide resources which will help you learn more about your healthcare concerns. Information acquired from resources should not replace medical advice by your healthcare provider. Use of these resources is intended to enhance communication in a cooperative effort with your provider. Please discuss all concerns with your healthcare provider before making changes in your care plan.

An informed healthcare consumer can make better decisions about healthcare and find improved ways to cope with illness.

Our goal is to provide understandable, accurate and current healthcare resources for our patients and their families, staff and the community. Our aim is to increase knowledge with education, support and to encourage further communication in a relaxed and compassionate environment.

Health Information Materials – The Health Resource Center staff is ready to assist you with finding specific health related information. E-mail, fax, call or stop in for information on a specific topic. The staff can provide websites and / or books, which may be helpful.
