Hospital Hours

St. Rita's Medical Center believes there is more to caring for a patient than just treating the physical symptoms. We also believe in caring for the mind and spirit as well. Friends, family and clergy often play an important role in speeding the recovery of someone who is hospitalized. General visiting hours in the medical center are until 8:30 p.m. daily. However, several patient care areas within the Medical Center ask visitors to refrain from visiting during certain hours of the day so the patient may rest.

On St. Rita's Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care unit, and Intensive Care Step-down unit, quiet time is observed daily from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m., 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

On the Coronary Care Unit, quiet time is observed from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. each day.

Finally, on Adult Behavioral Services visitation is limited to 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on weekends. Geriatric Behavioral Services daily 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

If you are not feeling well, have a cold or are recovering from an illness, the staff discourages you from visiting patients.
