Smoking and Tobacco Use Policy

St. Rita’s is a Tobacco Free facility. This means no smoking or any other tobacco use will be allowed on St. Rita’s property. There will no longer be any designated smoking areas. St. Rita’s main campus extends from Charles Street from the West, North Street to the North, Metcalf to the East and Spring Street to the South. There will also be no smoking on the property of our other facilities on South Dixie Highway, Bellefontaine Avenue, Delphos, Glandorf and Wapakoneta. This includes employees, volunteers, contractors, guests and visitors.

Tobacco use is the number one preventable cause of illness and death. As a health care provider we must do everything we can to discourage smoking or other tobacco use.
